Plastic

Canadians throw away 3 million tons of plastic each year.

If you were around in the 90s, you'd remember the endless marketing encouraging us to choose plastic over paper.
Oh, how the times have changed! Now that we know better, we strive to do better.

Why It's A Problem

Almost all plastic is non-degradable; yet, of the 3 million tons of plastic waste Canadians toss away each year, only 9% is recycled. The other 91% ends up in our landfills or the environment, creating health issues for our wildlife and precious bodies of water.

How We Help

Here at Waste Logic, we strive to help our clients uncover practical ways to increase their sustainability. We'll find service providers to help you divert your plastic waste from the landfills, allowing it to be reused in other products. In fact, recycling plastic for reuse in new products uses less energy than creating it from raw materials. That's a win-win in our books.
